President Yoweri Museveni Who doubles as the commander in chief of Uganda Peoples Defense Forces has appointed Arthur Mugyenyi as the new Director General Internal Security Organization (ISO).
Mr. Mugyenyi replaces the late former Director Brig Gen Charles Oluka who recently collapsed at home and died at a hospital in Seguku, a Kampala Surbab.
Mugyenyi has been the ISO director in charge of political affairs sitting in Kololo , a leafy Kampala surbab.
He will be deputized by Mr. Tony Kinyera Apecu as the Deputy Director General of ISO, while Col. Emmy Katabazi has been appointed as Deputy Ambassador.
Very calm , reserved with Uganda at his heart, Mugyenyi, a renowned loyal officer to the appointing authority with experience in intelligence spanning over decades ,is expected to give Uganda’s domestic civilian intelligence agency a new era and further bolster Uganda’s internal security mechanisms.
