KAMPALA – Business mogul King Ceasor Mulenga has received overwhelming support from National Resistance Movement (NRM) Entrepreneurs League delegates in the Central Region, who have unanimously endorsed him as the next national chairman of the league.

The endorsement came during the launch of the Central Region entrepreneurs’ SACCO, held on Friday in Nakasero, Kampala. Hundreds of delegates gathered to show their support, citing a long history of neglect and unfulfilled promises by past leadership.

“We have been used and lied to for years,” said a female delegate from Kalangala. “They only come around during elections. Afterwards, we only hear about them when they have grabbed public land or been taken to court. Their time is over—Mulenga is a new chapter.”

Another delegate from Luwero added, “Our former chairman was silent. He never advocated for us. But with King Mulenga, we finally have a voice. Money has arrived. Saccos are being created. He is not here for show, he is here for us.”

Shs1.8 Billion Investment in SACCOs

Mulenga, whose campaign runs under the theme “God, Cash, and Happiness,” announced a Shs1.8 billion injection into entrepreneurs’ SACCOs across Uganda. Each of the 18 regions will receive funding, starting with Shs100 million for the Kampala Sub-region, which was officially launched at the event.

Each SACCO will be headquartered in rent-free offices located in Mulenga’s building in Nakasero, Kampala.

Delegates resolved that SACCOs should be established at sub-regional levels, enabling grassroots entrepreneurs to access affordable credit and financial services.

Support for Entrepreneurial Families

In a bold move to support the families of entrepreneurs, Mulenga pledged to provide 60 scholarships per region annually, totaling 360 scholarships nationally. Each district will receive two scholarships per year to support the education of entrepreneurs’ children.

Additionally, Mulenga committed to recruiting qualified children of entrepreneurs into jobs within his chain of companies, as well as placements abroad.

Global Exposure and Capacity Building

To expand horizons for local entrepreneurs, Mulenga also announced the formation of a travel company dedicated to helping members explore international markets, learn global business practices, and ease the processing of travel documentation. The company will also organize both local and international business tours.

Mulenga further revealed plans to launch a business magazine aimed at promoting entrepreneurial awareness and showcasing global business opportunities.

To build capacity and provide practical skills, he also promised to begin business training and offering certificates of King Ceasor University to entrepreneurs.

Delegates hailed King Ceasor Mulenga as the visionary leader the Entrepreneurs League has long needed. “He’s brought energy, ideas, and real money to the table,” one said. “For the first time in years, we feel seen and heard.”

As momentum builds behind his leadership, King Ceasor Mulenga’s rise signals a new era for the NRM Entrepreneurs League—one defined not by broken promises, but by tangible action, grassroots empowerment, and a bold vision for Uganda’s entrepreneurial future.
