MultiChoice Uganda has officially launched the new 7-day subscription packages for its DStv and GOtv customers under this much more flexible and affordable initiative dubbed the ”Ka Weekie” campaign.

At the launch, Colin Asiimwe, marketing manager, MultiChoice Uganda, said that the initiative was informed by customer feedback and the changing lifestyles of consumers.

“Whatever the new offer is shows our understanding of how our customers live. It is also an indication of a business that listens to its customers. We hope this new package will be a game changer in furthering our growth while ushering in our customers into a new world of entertainment where they decide what to watch and when to watch it,” Asiimwe said.

With the new offer, DStv Uganda subscribers can now pick from among four 7-day packages:

DStv Compact- UGX 37,000
DStv Family- UGX 22,000
DStv Access- UGX 14,000
DStv Lumba- UGX 5,000

According to Asiimwe, it is not just about pricing. The campaign targets customers along their life path.

“The Ka Weekie campaign is for times like school holidays or trips to the village. In some ways, it was designed for the weekly and daily earners. It truly reflects the flexibility of its customers’ lives and our commitment to finding solutions for them,” he said.

These packages will offer full access to the bouquet contents that include live sports, blockbuster movies, hit series, news, and kids’ programs.

‘Rinaldi Jamugisa, PR and Communications Manager at MultiChoice Uganda reiterated that value and flexibility are what guide the brand.’

“With the Ka Weekie campaign, we make entertainment accessible. Short-term subscription options allow customers to plan their viewing in a more cost-sharing way without compromising on the quality and content they enjoy and desire,” Jamugisa said.

The campaign is underway, with subscriptions available on all existing payment channels.
