Museveni Appoints RDCs

January 12, 2021, President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda officially appointed and transferred Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and Deputy RDCs, citing powers granted to him under Articles 99 and 203 of Uganda’s 1995 Constitution.

145 officials were appointed as Resident District Commissioners (RDCs).

87 officials were appointed as Deputy RDCs.

The appointments cover all districts and cities across Uganda.

The announcement was made through a formal letter, detailing a comprehensive list of names and their respective districts.
